When Big Cain had a heart attack and was ordered to rest, Monroe was brought in to look after things. Although MHHQ and her Hunters got sloppy after the fourth Maverick War and the place was in dire need of change, Monroe's ideas are trouble. He believes his erratic descisions are for the best of the company, but in reality, they're tearing the place apart. Unlike his father, Monroe knows very little about reploids, and he doesn't care to learn. He has no love for the race; as a tot, reploids consumed his father's work and life. He got sick of them early.
Monroe has a trusted friend in Hawkmoon, the blind Mechadrake he met as a young boy. She was his only friend when he had none.
